The entry is free of charge but however if you’re constricted on time you can drive up to the castle by paying very little charge. It is also renowned to have a depiction of a moor’s face on the rocky outcrop when viewed from different angles.

You can also visit Castillo de San Fernando which was built in the 19th century as a measure of protection from the invasion of Napoleon. It is constructed very artistically and elegantly, therefore worth a visit. Alicante also boasts of numerous museums. There are many museums to visit in Alicante which acts as rich sources of history these include the provincial archaeological Museum, the Gravina fine arts Museum the nativity scene Museum, and the bullfighting museum.
